MoMA Digital Signage
Live, non-linear signage for MoMA digital displays.
The System
A real-time algorithmic video installation permanently set in the lobby of the Museum of Modern Art in NYC. The content is generated in real-time. Images and actions appear across multiple screens with non-linear coding ensuring that you will never see exactly the same sequence twice. The museum regularly uploads new images of temporary shows and content from their archived collections.
MoMA’s collection of over 22,000 art works
represented by animated slivers
generates a “digital fingerprint” of the museum
