B&H MEETS YOUTUBE
B&H Photo is a New York City icon with a loyal following. They are an online and brick and mortar superstore, run by a team of passionate and knowledgeable experts. As the agency of record for B&H, our immediate challenge was to generate brand awareness through YouTube content– an exciting first for this humble brand.
Working with Google, we supported our creative with strategic analytics, identifying best practices for efficacy on the platform.
BUILDING BRAND AWARENESS
We collaborated with Google on a strategic deep dive- evaluating company values, perception, and purpose. These intangibles led us to an authentic, personality driven approach that emphasizes their integrity and passion with a hand done, organic aesthetic. Our process included ideation, writing, design, photography, live action and did we mention VO? We hand picked Ed Burns- the quintessential New Yorker, independent filmmaker, and B&H super fan as the brand voice.
A BRIEF HISTORY OF B&H
B&H would not be B&H without their unique heritage and firm values. They are passionate, knowledgeable, and honest…to a fault. No one puts their customers first more than B&H. And whats more, the store experience is fun, quirky, and memorable.
This first film is a celebratory introduction to this special superstore, sharing their unique ingredients with love and charm.
Meet The Staff
It could be argued that the best thing about B&H are the people who work there. They are knowledgeable, creative, honest, and never overly salesy. This film introduces real B&H employees in one long camera move, across one long counter. Through a sequence of interactions, the viewer gets to experience the real magic of B&H. The reason why it is still important to do business with people, not algorithms.
